Description

Atwood Rope Color-Changing Horizon RG1302H paracord is a Type III 550 nylon cord with a classic multi-strand construction. It has a diameter of approximately 4 mm, a length of approximately 30 m, and a stated breaking strength of approximately 249 kg. The cord is constructed with a braided outer sheath and a seven-strand inner core, providing a combination of high strength and flexibility. The Horizon color-changing paracord is part of a line of paracords with a color-changing visual effect: due to the braiding, the cord's color changes when stretched. 550 paracord is used to make lanyards, fasteners, guy lines for tents and shelters, as well as for braiding accessories and performing auxiliary repairs; the inner strands can be used separately if needed. This cord is manufactured by Atwood Rope MFG in the USA and is classified as a general-purpose utility cord. Not intended for use in belay or climbing systems.
