The Drop Forged Boot Knife is a knife designed for concealed carry. With a keen double-edged 5” blade and needle sharp tip, it’s a substantial and shockingly effective last ditch self-defense tool, but thanks to its slim profile and one-piece construction it carries remarkably flat without “printing”.

Cold Steel is one of the most famous brands in the world of knives and edged weapons. The company was founded in 1980 in California by American Lynn Thompson. From the very beginning, Cold Steel sought to create knives that can withstand extreme loads. Lynn Thompson personally tested the products in the harshest conditions, building the brand's reputation on the real strength, sharpness and reliability of its products.

Over the years, Cold Steel has collaborated with a number of famous knife designers, such as Andrew Demko, the author of the iconic Tri-Ad Lock mechanism, patented by Cold Steel. The founder of the company, Lynn C. Thompson, who made a huge contribution to the development of modern tactical knife and sword designs, also often takes part in the design of knives.

Cold Steel is also an innovator in the field of steel - the company was one of the first to use CPM-3V and CTS-XHP in mass production.

Cold Steel folding knives are especially famous for their Tri-Ad Lock system, which significantly increases the strength of the lock and prevents its premature wear. Many models of folding knives, such as the Recon 1, Voyager, Ti-Lite, Espada and American Lawman, have become standards in their classes. Cold Steel is also famous for producing extra-large folding knives that can withstand heavy loads.

Cold Steel fixed blade knives are popular all over the world. Series such as SRK (Survival Rescue Knife), Recon Tanto, Leatherneck are designed for survival, combat use and heavy work in the field. The peculiarity of fixed models is their strength and ergonomic handles.

Cold Steel throwing knives are widely known for their strength, excellent balance and high reliability during active use.

Cold Steel also produces machetes (for example, Kukri Machete and Bowie Machete), which are ideal for chopping and working in the wild. Cold Steel also makes swords, baseball bats, kitchen knives, and more.

Cold Steel has been an innovator in many ways: it was the first company to popularize the use of synthetic materials (like Kraton and Griv-Ex) in handles, developed one of the strongest locks for folding knives, and set a new standard for real-world knife testing.
