The seven-piece knife block from the TWIN® 1731 series is just right for you if you value excellent quality. Both the high-quality material as well as its shape and range of functions will win you over. The luxurious design is all due to the Milan-based architect and designer Matteo Thun. The knife block stands out from other conventional models at first sight. The knife handles are made of untreated, oiled ebony and are engraved with the ZWILLING logo. The knife block measures 27.5 cm x 38 cm x 12.5 cm in size.
The exclusive high-performance steel Cronidur 30 makes the blade particularly resilient. Every knife is forged out of one piece, precision-ground and ice-hardened using a special procedure. The blade is flexible, sharp and corrosion-resistant. Included in the knife block are a 10 cm long paring and garnishing knife as well as a chef’s knife, slicing knife, a chef’s knife and a bread knife, all of which are 20 cm in length. An 18 cm long Santoku knife, which is specifically used for cooking Asian cuisine, and sharpening steel made from tungsten carbide complete the set. With the seven-piece knife block from ZWILLING, you’ll experience an unimaginable new level of quality when cutting meat and vegetables.
- FRIODUR® ice-hardened blade for exceptional durability of the cutting edge and corrosion resistance.
- Exclusive high-performance steel Cronidur 30: The material boats outstanding corrosion resistance and toughness.

Zwilling J.A. Henckels is one of the oldest brands in the kitchen industry, founded in 1731 in Solingen, Germany. The name "Zwilling" means "twins", and the logo with two people has long been a symbol of quality and trust. For almost three centuries, the brand has become a large international concern. Zwilling actively introduces modern developments: from cryogenic hardening of Friodur® steel to seamless laser grinding.
Zwilling kitchen knives are known worldwide for their quality, balanced geometry and durability. The most popular series, such as Pro, Four Star, Twin Pollux, and Twin Fin II can be found in professional and home kitchens around the world. All knives are made using stainless steel with additional cryohardening.
In addition to knives, Zwilling produces high-quality kitchenware: pots, pans, roasters, glass and vacuum cookware, as well as serving and storage products. The Zwilling Group also includes well-known brands: Staub (cast iron cookware from France), Ballarini (Italian non-stick cookware), Demeyere (Belgian steel cookware for professional chefs), and the Japanese premium brand of kitchen knives Miyabi.
