The blade is a black stonewashed finished D2 which is great for variety of tasks and holds up well. The handles are stainless steel liners topped with heavily textured G10 scales that provide a solid grip with minimal weight. The knife is deployed by use of the integrated thumb stud that hangs over the thumb hole on the blade.
