Mit dem Entwurf des Böker Plus Kihon Assisted OD Grün 01BO164 verkörpert der amerikanische Custom-Messermacher Lucas Burnley die Idee des japanischen Kihon. Der Begriff umfasst ursprünglich die Grundlagen und Basistechniken japanischer Kampfkünste, die Burnley im soliden Alltagsmesser bodenständig umsetzt. Ausstattung und das geradlinige Design zeugen von einer hohen Praxistauglichkeit und verleihen dem Messer eine ideale Basis für die alltäglichen Schneidarbeiten. Die kugelgelagerte Harpoon-Klinge aus D2 ist mit einem dunklen Stonewash-Finish versehen und öffnet federunterstützt per Flipper oder Daumenpin. Der ebenfalls mit einem dunklen Stonewash-Finish versehene Edelstahl-Framelock sichert die Klinge zuverlässig und ist zudem mit einem Hinderer Lock-Stop ausgestattet.
