The Boker Plus Thunder Storm Auto designed by Boris Manasherov is a rugged tactical knife. Its pronounced finger choil makes it very handy in any grip position. Fast position changes to a reverse grip or vice versa are supported by the ridges in the blade spine and handle. The black handle scales are milled from aluminum with weight-reducing grooves. The AUS-8 blade has a light stonewash finish and opens automatically with a push button. The lightweight pocketknife also comes with a tool that can be used to exchange the tungsten carbide glass breaker with a flat plate. With a lanyard hole and repositionable deep-carry clip (tip-up). Although we have seen many of Böker's products over the years, resourceful knife makers continue to find ways to surprise us. For instance, Brad Zinker from Florida with his Urban Trapper, one of the thinnest profile titanium framelocks we have ever experienced. At a mere 8 mm grip thickness (without clip), the term "slim" only inadequately characterizes the Urban Trapper for its usable size. The large bores and titanium transform the Urban Trapper into a true lightweight at only 48 g that can be extremely conveniently carried in a suit pocket or light summer trousers alike. Considering the minimalist overall design of the knife, the size of the flipper is equally sparing. When used, it impresses nevertheless with its outstanding functionality, and reliably opens the ball bearing hinged VG-10 blade. The blade shape of this classic trapper pocket knife, widely distributed throughout the US and worn by Brad Zinker for many years, was the inspiration for this unusual piece. Overall 19.5 cm. The Böker Plus CID cal. 45 New Gen Aluminum Grey 09BO086 is a tactical pen that sets new standards in design and technology. Rainer Wenning, who has already developed the Böker Plus pocket sticks SO4PRO-K, and the knifemaker Thomas Braunagel (BFK) designed it. The use of a bayonet mechanism is revolutionary. In purely functional terms, the bayonet mechanism significantly increases operating comfort, as neither a cap has to be unscrewed nor the lead unscrewed for writing.
The bayonet slide can be operated just as quickly as the classic push button and guarantees an absolutely secure grip when used as a tactical pen, since the thumb can rest securely on the pen head. At least as important in civilian use is the guaranteed satisfaction of the male play instinct through the use of the high-quality bayonet lock. Now you can counter the annoying click of nervous users of plastic pens with the rich sound of the all-metal bayonet fitting.
Another sensational specification is the Clip-Integrated-Design (CID). It offers the advantage of easy storage in a pocket without the need for a protruding clip that could press unpleasantly into the palm of the hand when gripped firmly.
