According to European Union law, the buyer has the right to withdraw from a contract concluded remotely (in an online store) within 14 days without giving a reason. This period begins upon receipt of the goods by the buyer or a person designated by the buyer, other than the carrier.
To exercise this right of withdrawal, you must notify the seller of your decision. This can be done by emailing us at [email protected]. Please include your order number in the subject line. After receiving the email, we will confirm receipt of your request and provide further instructions for returning the item. Please ensure that you provide correct order details so that we can process your request as quickly as possible.
Return Policy
The returned item(s) and packaging must be in the same condition as when received. In this case, a refund will be issued within 30 days of receipt of the returned item.
Refunds do not include shipping costs (in accordance with the EU law on the right of return *13.6.2014 voimaantulleiden kuluttajansuojalain säännösten mukaan). This means that even if shipping was free, the refund will not include the shipping costs the store incurred to deliver the parcel. We provide this information in our Terms and Conditions, which all customers must read and accept before placing an order (Section 6.2 https://mygoodknife.com/en/terms-and-conditions). In accordance with the law and our Terms and Conditions, when returning an item, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs and all costs incurred by Lämmin Tuuli OY in shipping the order.
The product packaging must be undamaged, and the item itself must not show any signs of use. If the item shows visible signs of use or damage, returns will not be accepted, and no refund will be issued. Please note that if a knife has been used and/or washed even once, it is no longer considered new, and the right of return does not apply. The right of withdrawal does not apply if the returned item does not match the item purchased in our store or cannot be clearly identified as the item purchased under the corresponding order. Refunds are only possible for items actually purchased under the order and subject to return in accordance with the confirmed purchase. If there is reasonable doubt as to whether the returned item matches the order, the seller reserves the right to withhold the refund pending clarification and inspection.
The customer is fully responsible for the item when returning it, so we recommend using insured and tracked shipping.
Inspection and examination of the item, as well as refund processing, take approximately 3-4 business days from receipt of the item. Please note that if the customer sent the item to a post office or pickup point, it will not be picked up immediately, but rather within a few business days. Refunds are processed using the same method used to make the payment.
