The typical teardrop shape of the Böker Barlow Prime Maserbirke 111942 goes back to 17th-century English pocketknives, which certainly makes it one of the world's oldest knife models. By the end of the 19th century, the first Barlow models appeared in the history of the Böker Manufactory.
This model is a new interpretation of old versions with shorter bolsters and a blade of nitrogen-alloyed N690. It has a modern elongated ricasso and a slipjoint made more secure with a 90-degree lock-in when opening or closing. The bolsters and tang are made from stainless steel, while the handle scales consist of stabilized wood of the Scandinavian curly birch. Weight is 55 g.

The Edelweiss Straight Razor line has already been a firm component of the historic Boker Straight Razor production since the 1920s. Even today we and a few lucky collectors still have absolutely like-new Straight Razors from this line from a time long since passed. The elaborately decorated Edelweiss lettering in the nickel silver inlay which is inserted in painstaking manual labor into the high-quality plastic handle with an ivory look, in combination with the original blade etching on the partially polished blade of this knife give it its special character. Analogously to the historic models, the handle area of the blade is only serrated on the top. The third decorative stud gives the handle additional stability and of course corresponds to the original of the historic line. Like with all Straight Razors from the Boker knife manufacture, the blade is ground extremely thin (until it makes the right sound), thus ensuring an always gentle and clean shave. Incl. classic blade stamp. Delivery includes certificate of authenticity in historic packaging. The version equipped with a Round Point in the popular 5/8 inch width is excellent for beginners in the field of wet shaving. The oldest German knife company Böker was founded in the 17th century (Remscheid). Today Böker produces one of the world's best folding knives, outdoor knives, tactical knives and hunting knives. Like the vast majority of late medieval businesses, Böker was a family business founded by the head of the family. The workshop, and a little later a small factory for the production of high-quality blades, was located in the most beautiful corner of Germany - a grove of spreading chestnut trees. This powerful tree became the symbol of the famous German company.

Not all Böker knives are producing in Solingen, Germany. Now the part of the legendary German manufacturer’s capacity has been transferred to Taiwan and China in order to optimize production costs (Böker Plus and Böker Magnum). All Böker factories are equipped with the most advanced equipment, and quality control of manufactured products is carried out centrally and very scrupulously.

In our shop you can find almost whole range of Böker knives. Some models are available for pre-order. We can not permanently keep at warehouse whole range of Böker knives, but have right to represent their whole range and accept pre-orders, since we get from them goods weekly.
