His unerring sense for ergonomics and unconventional solutions is fully brought to bear in the design of the fixed-blade Boker Plus Pocket Knife. The short handle offers an exceptionally comfortable and secure grip. Considering how the knife is supposed to be carried (clipped inside a trouser pocket), the short construction is a major advantage. This pocketknife can be worn just as comfortably discreetly as a folder. This model is the first to use the Ulticlip - with a secure spring clasp that can be attached to the pocket seam - which makes the knife easy to pull out, while the Kydex sheath is held securely in place by the Ulticlip. With its impressive blade made of ice-hardened 440C with 58 to 59 HRC the Full Integral is also suitable for stronger game, whether in Northern Europe or overseas. It has a flat surface grinding which maximises the stability of the blade. The knife is drop-forged from a single piece of steel and is fitted with elaborately contoured handle scales made from hand-picked deer horn, which are an absolute speciality due to the enormous size of the knife alone. The classic natural material is usually processed in much smaller profiles and is extremely difficult to find in this size. Supplied with a high-quality leather sheath. Böker Applegate-Fairbairn 5.5 version. Nearly no other custom knife maker influenced the tactical knife scene like William H. "Bill" Harsey. His designs created an excellent reputation in the world of the tactical knives. His custom versions are asked for worldwide and they are hard to get. We are glad, that Bill starts with Boker a new collaboration for our serial production. We begin with a modification of the legendary Applegate-Fairbairn dagger. The Harsey 5.5 is in use with several elite units around the world and it will be paired with modern features into a highly functional knife concept. The blade length offer the perfect compromise between the ability to carry it and utility. The enlarged width and the better geometry of the double edged and finely bead blasted 440-C high performance steel blade improve the cutting abilities. The tang reaches out of the end of the handle and it can be used as a windowbreaker. The CNC machined handles, made of green canvas micarta, are extremely durable and comfortable and these offer even in wet environments a perfect grip. It comes with a premium tactical sheath made by Spec-Ops Brand (USA) in black.
