This is Buck's standard blade material because it approaches the wear resistance of high carbon alloys while delivering the corrosion resistance of chromium stainless steels. The crescent tip makes the blade thinner with a sharper point. This shape provides good control for detail work and cutting in tight places. Commemoration 50 years, this 112 Ranger features a custom blade stamp and handle medallion to signify the anniversary.

The Slim Pro TRX features Torx screws over the standard rivet assembly and has a newly designed deep carry pocket clip. A clip point, S30V stainless steel blade with dual thumb studs allows for easy, one-hand ambidextrous opening. The handle is made of G10. G10 is a versatile laminate, this grade is a continuous glass woven fabric base impregnated with an epoxy resin binder. It has extremely high mechanical strength.
