Japanese folding knives are known for their sophisticated design and high-quality materials. These knives combine centuries-old traditions of Japanese metalworking with modern technologies.

Among the famous Japanese brands, we can highlight Kanekoma, which produces the legendary higonokami knives (they can be purchased in a separate category in our store), as well as Mcusta, which combines high-precision Japanese production with ergonomics and premium design. G.Sakai, a company from the city of Seki, is not inferior, producing knives both under its own brand and for world brands.

Folding knife Spyderco Endura 4 Blue Line is 22,2 cm opened, blade length is 9,9 cm. In 1990 Spyderco shook things up by introducing two knives, the Delica and Endura. First of their kind on the market, both folders opened up the knife market to lightweight performance, one-hand open pocketknives that just about everyone could afford. They settled as Spyderco's top two bestsellers and their improvement hasn't slowed since. Refinement has been so ongoing and continual Spyderco tagged the updating/upgrading process with the term CQI- Constant Quality Improvement. During the Endura and Delica's CQI journey Spyderco tweaked ergonomics, refined blade steels and fine-tuned their performance countless times. They are an evolutionary work in progress and the next level is here with the new Endura4 and Delica4. Both models now have screw construction making cleaning and adjusting easier. The fiberglass reinforced nylon handles come molded with Bi-Directional Texturing for preferred traction and improved ergonomics. Inside the handle dual skeletonized stainless steel liners make the knife stronger without adding weight and make an anchor for all external and internal components to attach through adding sturdiness and rigidity. Their VG-10 blades are flat saber-ground with a stronger tip and larger 13mm opening hole. Added to the blade's spine is slip resistant jimping. If you move in custom knife industry circles and/or attend knife shows you will have heard of Frank Centofante. In addition to being a celebrated and longtime custom knifemaker Frank is a past President of the Knifemaker's Guild, a strong voice in the cutlery world and a revered and respected craftsman. Collaborating on knife designs with him is something Spyderco has been fortunate enough to do several times. Our latest offering is the Centofante 3 gentleman's folder.
The Centofante 3 has a thin-profiled, lightweight FRN handle. Two channels are furrowed out of the handle for better grip and a Palladium silver Spyderco bug is inlayed into its surface. For added security and convenience the back-lock is positioned midway on the spine and David Boye Dent is cut from the locking lever. The VG-10 blade has both a hollow-grind and swedge-grind with non-sharpened spine serrations (jimping) to hold the thumb steady when cutting. A black steel pocket clip positions for tip-up/down, right-hand carry.

Spyderco Endela folder VG10 C243PBK is as compromise between Spyderco's Delica and Endura models, which are two of the most popular and widely used folding knives in history. For some folks the Delica may simply "seem" a little too small, while the Endura just "feels" a bit too big. Carefully designed to literally split the difference between the best-selling Endura 4 and Delica 4 Lightweights, the Endela faithfully maintains all the highly refined, time-tested features of each, but in the perfect "in-between" size. Its satin finished 3.41" (87 mm) blade is crafted from VG10 stainless steel and proudly features a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole for ambidextrous one-hand opening. 
The Endela's handle features skeletonized stainless steel liners nested within injection-molded FRN scales. It is not a locking blade, but the pressure of the thumb on the blade back prevents it from closing in use. It also has a firm ball bearing detent, keeping the blade in place whether open or closed - similar to how a linerlock keeps a blade closed. Blade lenght is 83 mm.
