Zero Tolerance folding knives are created in collaboration with such famous knife designers as Rick Hinderer, Dmitry Sinkevich, Ken Onion. Zero Tolerance pocket knives are made in the USA and Japan from the highest quality materials. For the manufacture of blades, Elmax, S35VN, M390 steels are used, and the handles are made of titanium, carbon fiber and other premium materials.

The 0230 is ZT's first slipjoint knife, so they had to add some extra touches to this non-locking pocketknife based on Jen's custom Monte Carlo design. The 0230 features a double detent system—to keep the blade safely closed for carrying, plus a second detent at the half-open position to ensure a controlled open and close. The 2.60" (6.6 cm) blade is CPM-20CV for exceptional wear resistance and a long-lasting edge. The highest level of chromium of any high-vanadium steel gives it excellent corrosion resistance as well. The sheepsfoot blade shape, with a full-width flat grind, provides excellent slicing capabilities and the downturned tip is ideal for utility work and precise, controlled cuts. But some knife users have been asking for a little more—a little more size, a little more handle curve, a little more carbon fiber, a little more Sinkevich. ZT's answer? The new 0460. In size, it’s slightly larger than the 0450, but not as large as the 0452CF. The blade steel is CPM S35VN for enhanced toughness and resistance to edge chipping with no loss of wear resistance. Rich in niobium, vanadium, and chromium carbides, it enables a sharp, long-lasting edge. For sharp looks, ZT gives the blade a two-tone finish: stonewashed on the flats and satin on the grinds. Based on Dmitry’s Polychotky Jr., the 0460’s carbon-fiber-and-titanium handle has a pronounced ergonomic curve to fit into the hollow of the hand neatly. The front scale is bronze carbon fiber. This relatively recently developed composite material offers the benefits of carbon fiber, but with the ability to colorize the material as well—in the case of the 0460, the color is an attractive bronze. We partially 3D machined the front handle for dimensionality and grip as well. The handle back is titanium with a titanium frame lock and hardened steel lockbar insert. Deploy the blade quickly and easily, even in gloves, using the ambidextrous flipper. The ZT 0350’s blade is S30V stainless steel with non-reflective black Tungsten DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating. S30V steel is extremely durable, corrosion resistant, and wear resistant. In addition to providing a non-reflective surface, the black Tungsten DLC coating offers additional blade hardness and reduces friction. This high-performance S30V blade is paired with textured black G-10 scales for a secure grip and excellent mechanical strength even under the roughest conditions.
