Description

Breathtaking colors, unprecedented biodiversity and a wonder that only nature is capable of creating. With a total area of 347,800 km², the Great Barrier Reef off the coast of Australia forms the largest continuous coral reef on earth and enchants the senses with its unique beauty. Boker takes knife lovers on an exotic journey and presents with the Great Barrier Damascus an extraordinary chef's knife, which is inherent in the magic of nature. The amboina wood handle has been stabilized with epoxy resin, creating an impressive depth effect reminiscent of the deep blue waters and colorful wildlife of the Great Barrier Reef. The hand-forged, stainless steel Wild Damascus blade not only impresses with its high toughness and hardness (60 HRC), but also continues the harmony of the kitchen knife with its implied wave pattern. The forged split piece of 150 layers of damascus is heated to red heat by us in Solingen and then hammered into its beautiful shape by a two-ton drop hammer. Limited to only 20 pieces worldwide, the chef's knife is delivered with an individual serial number in a leather-covered gift box and certificate of authenticity. Handmade in the Boker knife manufactory Solingen. The chef's knife is one of the most important knives in the kitchen and is part of the basic equipment. It has a slightly wider and longer blade than the all-purpose knife. The slender tip is excellent for cutting onions or small vegetables. Thanks to its length, it can also be used as a meat knife. Even large vegetables can be processed with it without any problems.

The oldest German knife company Böker was founded in the 17th century (Remscheid). Today Böker produces one of the world's best folding knives, outdoor knives, tactical knives and hunting knives. Like the vast majority of late medieval businesses, Böker was a family business founded by the head of the family. The workshop, and a little later a small factory for the production of high-quality blades, was located in the most beautiful corner of Germany - a grove of spreading chestnut trees. This powerful tree became the symbol of the famous German company.

Not all Böker knives are producing in Solingen, Germany. Now the part of the legendary German manufacturer’s capacity has been transferred to Taiwan and China in order to optimize production costs (Böker Plus and Böker Magnum). All Böker factories are equipped with the most advanced equipment, and quality control of manufactured products is carried out centrally and very scrupulously.

In our shop you can find almost whole range of Böker knives. Some models are available for pre-order. We can not permanently keep at warehouse whole range of Böker knives, but have right to represent their whole range and accept pre-orders, since we get from them goods weekly. 'If the product page doesn't have "In Stock", the "Add to Cart" button is yellow, and the button says "Shipping after 15-20 working days" - this means that the product is available on pre-order. We order the goods in the Böker manufacturer's warehouse and send it to you as soon as we receive it from the manufacturer.

MyGoodKnife is the official distributor of Böker.
