Roselli Japanese Chef knife R710 is a medium-sized Japanese-style knife suitable for slicing and cooking. The blade of this knife is slightly narrower than that of the Roselli Small, but the heavier weight adds amazing strength. This knife can also cut meat and fish into thin slices. The blade is made of forged carbon steel, and the handle is carved from curly birch and coated with linseed oil for a secure grip even in wet condition. Carbon steel is sensitive to moisture and corrosive environments. Get into the habit of rinsing your knife in fresh water, drying it fully and oiling your blade regularly.
