Cold Steels Rondel is a dagger inspired by historical examples of medieval combat daggers. This weapon specialized in piercing chain mail or slipping through holes in plate armor. The long straight triangular blade is very strong and sharp. The metal is blued and the edges are hand polished to give the Rondel a beautiful appearance. The handle of the dagger is expertly hand carved from rosewood with brass inlays for a heightened grip. The guard and pommel are additionally decorated with serifs and provide reliable hand protection. Historically precise hand-sewn leather scabbard allows the Rondel to be attached to a belt for easy portability. Ideal for practicing historical European martial arts, and as a great addition to a collection of medieval weapons.

Cold Steel knives today are a symbol of quality and durability. Since 1980, Cold Steel has been making the toughest knives, folding knives, hatchets, swords and other outdoor products, as well as kitchen knives. Many Cold Steel knives, such as Recon 1, Espada, Ti-Lite, American Lawman and others, have become legends. Cold Steel was founded by Lynn Thompson in 1980 in the USA. Thompson is a martial artist, weapons researcher and knife designer who knows exactly what is needed from a knife in any given situation. The advantage of Cold Steel knives is that they are not afraid of the most severe tests and heavy tasks.
