The main competition to the Bowie knife from the late 1830's to the period just after the Civil War was the Cold Steel Arkansas Toothpick 88GTP. The model got its namesake as an ironic reference to the coarse, rough and tumble culture that populated the lowlands of Arkansas and the Mississippi delta in the mid 19th century. Travelling journalists from Europe often made up stories about how they commonly saw men and old boys picking their teeth with giant knives that they dubbed Arkansas Toothpicks. Like the Bowie it was frequently a large knife almost always double edged with a sharp acute point. The knife almost always had a double quillon guard and many were fancy and some imitated the Bowies of the day in size and appearance. Sure, some were plain, but most were elaborately decorated. This version has a substantial double edge spear point blade, with a Malaysian Sal wood handle and a fancy pommel with an alligator motif. The scabbard is equally stunning, it's finely made and decoratively enhanced to complement the handle.

The tactical knife Extrema Ratio Nimbus Special Edition  is a modern version of the Second World War Italian Nimbus assault knife. The Special Edition comes with wooden handle, satin blade, leather sheath and leather special case. The 141mm (5.55") tactical blade is light and compact for ease of use and is made from Böhler N690 steel. The total length of the Nimbus knife is 263 mm (10.35 in). 
This knife celebrates the battle of Case Grizzano which took place on 19th April 1945 between the paratroopers of Nembo and the German 1 Division Fallschirmjäger “Green Devils”, a 12 hours extremely cruel and bloody hand-to-hand blade skirmish.

New version of Böker Swiss Dagger 121550. The Swiss Dagger was a common weapon of the Swiss pikemen in the 15th and 16th century, which often had a middle position between dagger and sword due to its blade length. The dagger, also known as Baselard, was usually not issued as ordinance weapons, but had to be purchased privately by the soldiers and then served as a secondary weapon. Characteristic of the Swiss Dagger is the design of the pommel and the crossguard. The unusual, curved design can be traced back to the early 13th century and can also be found in the authentic design of our hand-made edition. Handpicked local cherry wood is used for the handles of the dagger, which has enjoyed great popularity since ancient times, especially because of its reddish color. The dagger blade, sharpened and pointed on both sides, already had a diamond-shaped cross-section in historical models, because this construction proved to be extremely stable and effective. It is made of the classic carbon steel C75 and impresses simply because of its length. The logo and the individual serial number guarantee the authenticity of the knife and stand for consistently high production quality. With elaborate metal sheath. Böker Applegate-Fairbairn 5.5 version. Nearly no other custom knife maker influenced the tactical knife scene like William H. "Bill" Harsey. His designs created an excellent reputation in the world of the tactical knives. His custom versions are asked for worldwide and they are hard to get. We are glad, that Bill starts with Boker a new collaboration for our serial production. We begin with a modification of the legendary Applegate-Fairbairn dagger. The Harsey 5.5 is in use with several elite units around the world and it will be paired with modern features into a highly functional knife concept. The blade length offer the perfect compromise between the ability to carry it and utility. The enlarged width and the better geometry of the double edged and finely bead blasted 440-C high performance steel blade improve the cutting abilities. The tang reaches out of the end of the handle and it can be used as a windowbreaker. The CNC machined handles, made of green canvas micarta, are extremely durable and comfortable and these offer even in wet environments a perfect grip. The extraordinary Twisted Damascus is now followed by the Mosaic Damascus, which is also very complex to manufacture. It is one of the royal class of Damascus forging and makes the impressive dagger an absolute highlight in every knife collection. In contrast to conventional Damascus, no layers are produced in the manufacture of Mosaic Damascus. Instead, complex Damascus bars are forged by hand into a mosaic in an elaborate and very complicated process. To do this, the Damascus package, which initially consists of stacked layers, is cut up and reassembled in a staggered manner to create a unique mosaic pattern at the end faces of the bar. The Damascus is then cut up again and the complex process is repeated several times, the resulting pattern becoming finer and more unique with each step. Finally, the individual packages are stacked and forged in the shape of a square so that the ends of the individual pieces form a new surface. Forging temperature, forming, deformation rate and the previous steps must be optimally coordinated. This extremely demanding forging process, which only few Damascus smiths master, is carried out to perfection for our Swiss dagger by Chad Nichols. The dagger blade, sharpened and pointed on both sides, already had a diamond-shaped cross-section in historical models, because this construction proved to be extremely stable and effective. Characteristic of the Swiss Dagger is the design of the pommel and the crossguard.
