The Sheffield SHE006 Fairbairn-Sykes British Commando Dagger is a modern replica of the famous fighting dagger designed by William Fairbairn and Eric Sykes in the 1940s for the British Army. Made in England, this dagger retains the historical design and is intended for collectors, reenactors and connoisseurs of military history. The blade is 178 mm long and is made of carbon steel. Authentic metal handle. Sheffield British Commando knives are supplied in a leather sheath with a metal tip. The dagger was originally designed as a stabbing tool, so the cutting edge may not be razor sharp - this is done for additional strength and stabbing potential.
