Description

The Paaso Eräsetti 075 is a great gift for a hunter. The set includes a Lintu ("bird") knife, a whetstone and a game belt. Handle is made from curly birch. Brass bolster, staghorn pommel. The knife blade is 80 mm carbon steel. Carbon steel qualities:  Carbon percentage: 0,80%,  Hardening furnace: 820°C,  Discharge heat 225°C (2 hour), Steel hardness after discharge 59 HRC. The included whetstone guarantees the sharpness of the knife in any situation. Comes with hand made leather sheath with beautiful pictures of Lapland and its nature. The set also includes a  gift box.

Paaso Puukot is a family-run Finnish workshop founded in 1952 by Taumo Paaso in Lapland. The company produces traditional Finnish knives, souvenirs and jewelry. Since 2008, it has kept the name Paaso-Puukot and is headed by Taumo's son, Karri.

Most of the knives are made of high-carbon steel. Paaso Puukot knife handles are made of natural materials - Finnish birch, reindeer antler. All knives are equipped with hand-made leather sheaths.

Paaso Puukot's assortment includes traditional "puukko" and "leuku" knives, hunting models and comfortable knives for everyday use. All knives have an authentic Scandinavian look. A Paaso Puukot knife will be a great helper for every day and a good gift.
