The Cold Steel Recon Scout 39LRSS is a version of the Trail Master Bowie model scaled down to 7.5 inches. The knife retains the same blade shape. Its 191 mm blade is crafted from 52100 high-carbon steel and features a black coating to protect against corrosion. The handle is made of moisture-resistant Kray-Ex material. The Recon Scout comes with a durable Secure-Ex sheath. The knife weighs approximately 430 g and is manufactured at Cold Steel's facilities in Taiwan.
