The Ka-Bar TDI Investigator 1493 is a compact fixed-blade knife designed as a smaller version of the KA1482. The 68mm blade is crafted from Japanese AUS-8A stainless steel and features a protective black coating. Its drop-point design makes it versatile, ideal for precision work and confident cutting control, while its full-tang construction ensures high strength. This model is part of the TDI (Tactical Defense Institute) series, created specifically for law enforcement. The knife is designed for use in close-quarters situations where access to a primary weapon is difficult or impossible. The fiberglass-reinforced nylon FRN handle is durable, water-resistant, and provides a secure grip. A lightweight and durable Kydex sheath is included, ensuring quick draw and comfortable concealed carry.
Ka-Bar is one of the most recognizable American knife brands, renowned for its military and tactical models and decades-tested quality. Our product line includes the legendary USMC Fighting Knife, Bowie, compact Short and Little Finn knives, as well as modern tactical and outdoor knives. Our store offers only genuine Ka-Bar knives.
