Al Mar Mini SERE 2020 folder G Series is world renown as one of the strongest tactical folders in existence. Originally designed by Al Mar and Colonel Nick Rowe in the early 1980s for the U.S. Army’s SERE school, today’s updated models are stronger and the most precisely crafted versions they've ever made. The Mini SERE 2020 features coyote tan FRN handles, pillar construction, flow-through design, and Al Mar's left/right reversible deep carry pocket clip that provides a discrete way of carrying the knife and delivers the kind of performance you need in the real world. The blade 3" made of 8Cr13MoV steel, satin finish. Pivot assembly is Spring Assisted! Overall length 7" Weight 3.1 oz.
History of Al Mar knives
The Al Mar knife brand was founded in 1979 in the USA. The company’s founder, Al Mar, had experience serving in the American special forces and actively applied this knowledge in developing knives designed for real field conditions.
The brand gained worldwide recognition thanks to the S.E.R.E. knife (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape), developed in 1985 together with Colonel James Rowe — also a former member of the Green Berets. This model was ranked No.1 in the category of folding tactical knives and became one of the most iconic in the Al Mar lineup.
