History of Al Mar knives
The Al Mar knife brand was founded in 1979 in the USA. The company’s founder, Al Mar, had experience serving in the American special forces and actively applied this knowledge in developing knives designed for real field conditions.
The brand gained worldwide recognition thanks to the S.E.R.E. knife (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape), developed in 1985 together with Colonel James Rowe — also a former member of the Green Berets.
