The Boker Barlow Prime combines a traditional pocket knife profile with modern materials. While it retains the signature style of the Barlow family, this model features a one-piece handle design, omitting the classic bolsters and additional metal liners. The handle scales are crafted from dark green Canvas Micarta—a composite material made of layers of woven fabric impregnated with synthetic resin and pressed under high pressure. This structure ensures exceptional durability and wear resistance, while the material's texture provides a secure grip. The blade is forged from N690 stainless steel, alloyed with chromium, molybdenum, vanadium, and cobalt; this alloy offers excellent corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and superior edge retention. A stonewash finish creates a fine-grained, matte surface that helps conceal minor scratches and signs of daily use. The knife features a nail nick for opening, and a slipjoint mechanism keeps the blade in the open position. A "half-stop" position—at an opening angle of approximately 90°—allows for greater control when closing the knife. The Boker Barlow Prime is handcrafted at the Boker manufactory in Solingen, Germany.
