Folding knife Claude Dozorme classic Black has original handle made of black horn. The traditional Laguiole shape is native to the Aveyron village of the same name. The Laguiole knives are distinguished by their characteristic curved shape and by the bee on the bolster. The dimensions are - knife closed: 12 cm long; open knife: 22 cm long; blade: 10,3 cm long. This folding pocket knife was made in the workshops of Claude Dozorme Cutlery. It is 100% made in France, designed by passionate and qualified craftsmen.

Claude Dozorme is located in Thiers, the center of French knife production. The company produces the classic French Laguiole and Le Thiers pocket knives, as well as modern EDC folding knives.
Laguiole is not a brand name, but a classic type of French folding knife. Currently, only a few brands, including Claude Dozorme, are authorized to produce knives under the Laguiole name. This type of knife has an elegant shape and a thin blade. The blade lock often features an optional raised metal image of a bee. The spine of the knife is decorated with a guilloché pattern running the entire length of the blade.
Le Thiers is also a patented type of folding knife. Unlike the Laguiole, its shape is more formal and versatile, and the blade is wider and shorter. Le Thiers knives can only be produced by certified makers in the Thiers region.
In addition to knives, Claude Dozorme's product range includes sommelier knives (corkscrews), champagne sabres (champagne sabers), table knives, and kitchen knives. In 2008, the French Ministry of Culture awarded the Claude Dozorme factory the honorary title of "Cultural Heritage Enterprise" as the custodian and owner of unique knife and wine accessory manufacturing techniques.
