Cold Steel Espada is inspired by the classic Spanish Navaja knives, but modernized in appearance and technology. This knife is a collaboration between custom knife maker Andrew Demko and Cold Steel President Lynn S. Thompson. Despite its impressive size, the Espada is built to fit comfortably and discreetly in your pocket. The beautiful blade is made of high quality American S35VN alloy steel, chosen for the sharpness of its ultra-thin cutting edge, but also its ability to hold it for a long time. The knife also features an expertly polished G-10 handle with polished 7075 aluminum bolsters. Each Espada is equipped with the patented Tri-Ad locking mechanism for amazing shock resistance and reliability. In company's brutal testing, the Espada XL knife not only withstood 270 kg of load, but was even able to keep the car's internal combustion engine on weight.

Cold Steel knives today are a symbol of quality and durability. Since 1980, Cold Steel has been making the toughest knives, folding knives, hatchets, swords and other outdoor products, as well as kitchen knives. Many Cold Steel knives, such as Recon 1, Espada, Ti-Lite, American Lawman and others, have become legends. Cold Steel was founded by Lynn Thompson in 1980 in the USA. Thompson is a martial artist, weapons researcher and knife designer who knows exactly what is needed from a knife in any given situation. The advantage of Cold Steel knives is that they are not afraid of the most severe tests and heavy tasks.
