The Fox SURU knife was designed by renowned designer Jesper Voxnæs. This version features an M398 steel blade. It is a modernized version of M390 steel, distinguished by its increased carbon and vanadium content, providing phenomenal wear resistance. The handle features cellulose acetate scales. Cellulose is a natural polymer that forms the structural basis of all plant life. Cellulose acetate is produced by reacting cellulose with acetic anhydride. This material combines high physical and mechanical properties with environmental friendliness. The Fox SURU has received widespread acclaim among EDC knife enthusiasts and was awarded the prestigious Blade Show Overall Knife of the Year 2018 award.
