And in 1928 he came to the city of Rovaniemi and founded his own company. The blades of Marttiini knives are made of special chrome-plated stainless steel, as well as carbon steel. The most famous Marttiini knives are the traditional knives of the Lynx series (Ilves). Marttiini produces the Knife of the Year every year.
