SOG Specialty Knives & Tools was founded in 1986 by American designer Spencer Fraser. The inspiration was the iconic Bowie combat knife of the elite MACV-SOG unit that operated in Vietnam. Having released a modern version of the Bowie knife, SOG began to produce other tactical knives.
Today, the SOG brand produces knives with a fixed blade, folding knives and multi-tools, as well as accessories and tactical gear. The brand actively cooperates with the military, rescuers and special forces, so the products are truly thought out and as reliable as possible.
SOG products have repeatedly received industry awards, including the titles of "Best Tactical Knife" and "Best Multi-Tool of the Year" from international exhibitions and specialized publications.
