Cold Steel Outdoorsman Lite resembles its more expensive counterparts in many ways (with similar blades, protective guards and pommels), but differs with a blade made of 4116 stainless steel and an updated handle. The handle is made of Kray-Ex with a polypropylene core and guard. To safely and comfortably carry the knives in fields, a versatile low-profile polymer sheath is included that can be easily carried around the hip thanks to the integrated belt loop.
