Equipped with the genes of the successful Boker Plus Frelon, the French knifemakers Raphael Durand and Samuel Lurquin present the SamoSaur, the next pocket-knife Böker Plus SamoSaur 01BO499 suitable for everyday use. The special feature lies in the design of the slipjoint mechanism, which is called Cran Forcé. Here, a reinforced back spring presses permanently on theroot of the blade and provides a solid resistance when opening and closing the knife. The clippoint blade made of D2 masters daily cutting tasks with aplomb and has a ricasso on the back of the blade as well as a gritty stonewash finish. The contoured handle scales made of G10 provide a secure grip in any position and round off the tidy appearance of the Boker Plus SamoSauer beautifully. Supplied with a high-quality nylon pouch. By pressing the push-button on the front, the blade pops out of the handle at 45°, exposing the opening for inserting a cigar. If, on the other hand, the push-button on the back is pressed at the same time, the blade opens completely, as with a small automatic knife. As a self-confessed fan of the Filipino Martial Arts, it made sense for the Italian knife designer Alessandra De Santis from Hydra Design to design a Karambit knife HEL 01BO515 for Böker Plus. The sickle-like knives have their origin in Southeast Asia and were preferably used for rice harvesting. The Boker Plus HEL Karambit, on the other hand, presents itself in a tactical guise. The black-coated Hawkbill blade made of 154CM works its way effortlessly through cardboard and ropes, while the black G10 handle and the robust linerlock provide the necessary on-the-job safety. The light weight and high efficiency form the backbone of the pocket-knife named after the Norse goddess of the underworld. As an alternative to the silky-smooth flipper opening, the pocket-knife offers a screw-off thumb stud on the back of the blade, the shape of which also serves as a wave-opener. The characteristic angular design elements of Alessandra De Santis can be found in the striking G10 ring at the end of the handle.
