The original Zero Tolerance 0454 was an award-winning collaboration between ZT and custom knife designer Dmitry Sinkevich. But it was also a very Limited Edition knife.
To make this amazing knife more readily available, ZT has created a new-for-2015 version based on the original’s streamlined form and high-performance function. The 0452CF is the same size as the original 0454, but with a carbon fiber front scale and S35VN dual-finished blade. S35VN sharpens to a razor edge, holds it, and can be resharpened easily. The 0452CF opens as smooth as butter with the KVT ball-bearing opening system and built-in flipper. A titanium frame lock with hardened steel lockbar insert ensures solid lock up

Zero Tolerance Sinkevich 0460Ti stylish folding knife designed by famous knife designer Dmitry Sinkevich. Persian blade 83 mm long is made of premium steel CPM-20CV, which is characterized by good edge retention and corrosion resistance. Blade with double satin and stonewashed treatment. The Zero Tolerance 0450CF, designed by Dmitry Sinkevich, is one of ZT’s top-selling knives. But some knife users have been asking for a little more—a little more size, a little more handle curve, a little more carbon fiber, a little more Sinkevich. ZT's answer? The new 0460. In size, it’s slightly larger than the 0450, but not as large as the 0452CF. The blade steel is CPM S35VN for enhanced toughness and resistance to edge chipping with no loss of wear resistance. Rich in niobium, vanadium, and chromium carbides, it enables a sharp, long-lasting edge. For sharp looks, ZT gives the blade a two-tone finish: stonewashed on the flats and satin on the grinds. Based on Dmitry’s Polychotky Jr., the 0460’s carbon-fiber-and-titanium handle has a pronounced ergonomic curve to fit into the hollow of the hand neatly. The front scale is bronze carbon fiber. This relatively recently developed composite material offers the benefits of carbon fiber, but with the ability to colorize the material as well—in the case of the 0460, the color is an attractive bronze. We partially 3D machined the front handle for dimensionality and grip as well. The handle back is titanium with a titanium frame lock and hardened steel lockbar insert. A matte black anodized aluminum backspacer adds a handsome decorative touch. The black Teflon®-coated pocketclip lets you carry the ZT comfortably every day.

This powdered metallurgy tool steel has a high volume of vanadium carbides for exceptional wear resistance and a truly long-lasting edge. The two-tone, satin-and-stonewashed blade finish looks handsome, while the KVT ball-bearing opening and a flipper make the knife fast and easy to open. >The ZT 0470's handle is titanium with an eye-catching marbled carbon fiber insert. Instead of a formal "weave" as in standard carbon fiber sheets, for the "marbled" insert, the carbon fibers are dropped randomly onto the plate. Then resin is added to secure the fibers and produce a smooth surface. A titanium clip and a black anodized-aluminum backspacer complete the look of this refined pocket knife.
