They are made of high-carbon VG-10 steel (60 HRC hardness) with a three-layer construction (damascus cladding + steel core). This traditional Japanese knife structure, known as san-mai, ensures excellent sharpness, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance. The handles are made of pakkawood – a stabilized laminated wood that is water-resistant and highly hygienic.
