Tojiro Shippu Black Knives

Tojiro Shippu Black is one of the most beautiful and popular series of Tojiro kitchen knives. The blades of Shippu Black knives are made from 63 layers (large knives) or 37 layers (petti and vegetable knives) of Damascus steel, treated with an innovative chemical oxide dye, highlighting the elegant wavy pattern. Additional treatment of Tojiro Shippu Black knives with oxide also protects the blades from corrosion. The core of the blades of Shippu Black knives is made of VG10 steel, and the lining is made of stainless steel containing chrome. The elegant chestnut wood handle is thermally treated for added strength. Tojiro Shippu Black kitchen knives are supplied in elegant brown cardboard boxes.
