Victorinox Multitools

The history of Victorinox multi-tools begins in 1891, when Karl Elsener developed the first "soldier's knife" (Soldatenmesser) for the Swiss Army. It included a blade, a screwdriver, a can opener, and an awl. In 1897, Elsener patented an improved version - the "officer's knife", adding a corkscrew and a second blade. It was this version that became the ancestor of the legendary Swiss army knives, known throughout the world as the Swiss Army Knife. The red case with a white cross has become not just a symbol of the brand, but an international sign of reliability and versatility.

Depending on the model, Victorinox army knives can include from 5 to 30+ functions: blade, scissors, saw, bottle openers, screwdrivers, corkscrew, needle, tweezers, key ring, USB drive, and even an altimeter or flashlight. Today, Victorinox offers dozens of models. Among the most popular: Spartan - a classic with 12 functions, Swiss Champ - "all in one", up to 33 functions, Classic SD - a compact 58-mm keychain knife with scissors, nail file and tweezers, SwissTool - a full-size multi-tool with pliers.

In addition to the standard red cases, Victorinox releases models in other colors, as well as limited edition Alox Limited Editions every year. These models are prized by collectors and fans of the brand around the world.
