The Böker Plus Kwaiken Mini Limited 01BO497 by Lucas Burnley is probably one of the most influential designs of the 21st century. With its clear and practical shape, this modern pocket-knife has become a true icon. The clean lines and slim design, which nevertheless accommodates the entire blade when closed, are absolutely unique. It is the further development of the well-known Burnley Kwaiken Classic, a driving knife also in the neo-Japanese style. The flipper ensures intuitive operation and additional safety, while the titanium framelock with stainless steel inlay and overtravel stop securely locks the ball-bearing straight-back blade made of M390. The exclusive claim of this premium version, strictly limited to 500 pieces worldwide, is underlined by the handle scales made of wild carbon fibre with green colour inclusions. The slim design and exclusive material make the Kwaiken a noble crossover between a gentleman's folder and a tactical combat knife. To make this bridging even easier, the Kwaiken Mini Limited offers the same outstanding qualities as its big brother with significantly reduced (and thus more pocketable) dimensions. If you need a robust folder for everyday carry or a combat scenario that will not let you down, you've just found it in the Mini Buster. This collaboration between WE Knives and Snecx Design Lab is one of the most exciting pieces of the year and we could spend all day heaping praise on this knife if we wanted. It is a production priced Snecx with the feeling and feature-set of a mid-tech knife. The trademark Snecx design aesthetic may not be for everyone but the design is a do-it-all and do-it-all-well kind of a knife whose utility functionality cannot be disregarded. Its traditional sheepsfoot blade is great for all sorts of cutting tasks apart from stabbing but it does have a reinforced tip if you tend to do most of your cutting concentrated on that area. The handle, honestly, couldn't be more ergonomic and we love the very straightforward, no-nonsense look of the overall design. You will not be disappointed with the Mini Buster, it's going to be a hard-use EDC knife we recommend for years to come.. The knife is 20,2cm open and 11,5cm closed.
