Designed by the renowned knifemaker Jesper Voxnaes from Denmark, the homeland of the Vikings, and handmade in the Boker Manufactory in Solingen, Germany, the home of high quality blades, the Gorm combines ageless virtues which make this knife series a real masterpiece of kitchen cutlery. The choice of materials is as extraordinary as the design. Equipped with stainless 440C steel with its high edge retention and a Rockwell hardness of 58-59° HRC. The characteristically shaped hole in the blade provides excellent control while you choke forward on the handle like the professional chefs do. From an ergonomic standpoint, the Gorm sets a new standard. The handle scales are made of milled canvas Micarta with the typical linen texture. Blade length: 4 3/8". Overall length: 7 3/4". MyGoodKnife is the official distributor of Böker. The oldest German knife company Böker was founded in the 17th century (Remscheid). Today Böker produces one of the world's best folding knives, outdoor knives, tactical knives and hunting knives. Like the vast majority of late medieval businesses, Böker was a family business founded by the head of the family. The workshop, and a little later a small factory for the production of high-quality blades, was located in the most beautiful corner of Germany - a grove of spreading chestnut trees. This powerful tree became the symbol of the famous German company.
Now the part of the legendary German manufacturer’s capacity has been transferred to Taiwan and China in order to optimize production costs (Böker Plus and Böker Magnum). However, this does not mean that the products of the famous company “with a tree on the blade” have become worse. All Böker factories are equipped with the most advanced equipment, and quality control of manufactured products is carried out centrally and very scrupulously. In our shop you can find almost whole range of Böker knives. Some models are available for pre-order. We can not permanently keep at warehouse whole range of Böker knives, but have right to represent their whole range and accept pre-orders, since we get from them goods weekly. 'If the product page doesn't have "In Stock", the "Add to Cart" button is yellow, and the button says "Shipping after 15-20 working days" - this means that the product is available on pre-order. We order the goods in the Böker manufacturer's warehouse and send it to you as soon as we receive it from the manufacturer.
