Dragon Storm Fusion chef´s knife is designed to be the perfect all-around knife for any kitchen. Based primarily upon a blend of the chef and nakiri knives, the Fusion features a gently curved edge to accommodate both a rocking and a push cut motion. Forged from 2.5 mm thick acid-etched BD1N nitrogen-enriched stainless steel from the USA, the spine maintains much of its thickness from bolster to tip. This helps transfer more cutting power through each stroke and provides better control at the tip of the blade. The Fusion can be used in place of a cooks knife and excels at prepping and chopping vegetables, slicing meat, mincing garlic and dicing onions. Overall length 13.22". Blade length 8.5". Weight 9.2 oz. Recommended hand-washed.

Dragon by Apogee ist eine amerikanische Marke für Küchenmesser, die japanische Handwerkskunst mit amerikanischen Ingenieursstandards verbindet. Markengründer Jason Williams wollte ein Messer entwickeln, das die Schärfe eines traditionellen japanischen Messers mit der für eine professionelle Küche erforderlichen Haltbarkeit vereint.
Das Hauptmerkmal der Dragon-Messer ist die Verwendung des amerikanischen Kohlenstoffstahls BD1N, gehärtet auf 63 HRC. Dieser Stahl zeichnet sich durch hervorragende Schnitthaltigkeit und Korrosionsbeständigkeit aus. Die meisten Messer sind mit G10-Griffen ausgestattet.
Die Linie Dragon by Apogee umfasst Universalmesser: Kochmesser, Santoku, Tranchiermesser, Gemüsemesser und mehr. Diese Messer werden in Japan hergestellt.
