Gude is one of the best German manufacturers of kitchen knives. In 1910, blacksmith and gunsmith Karl Gude organized his own manufactory production of knives and cutting tools in the small town of Solingen in Germany. Today, each Güde knife is still a work of blacksmith's art. Gude is one of twelve knife companies that have received the honorable right to put the name of the city of Solingen next to the brand stamp on their products. Güde knives are multiple winners of one of the most prestigious German design awards - Red Dot Design, as well as Iconic Award, Good Design Award and others. Güde is not just a company that makes high-quality knives, it is, first of all, a family business. For more than 100 years, craftsmen have taken into account every detail when making knives, so each blade is unique.
