The Marttiini Ranger 250 is a durable knife for hiking and hunting. The handle design combines two types of birch: Finnish Karelian and heat-treated. The durable 16-cm-long blade is made of stainless steel. The blade is shaped like a Lappish leuku knife. The Marttiini Ranger 543015 comes with a brown leather sheath.
Marttiini knives have been one of the symbols of Finland for many years. Traditional Finnish knives "puukko" produced by Marttiini are known all over the world. The blacksmith Janne Marttiini started making knives back in 1902. And in 1928 he came to the city of Rovaniemi and founded his own company. The blades of Marttiini knives are made of special chrome-plated stainless steel, as well as carbon steel. Traditional "puukko" have classic wooden handles.
