The huge interest in exceptional Boker Tirpitz-Damast over the years has convinced to design another model supplied with the historic damascus steel. The Boker Barlow Prime Tirpitz Damascus 117942DAM , which is much more compact than the original model, is not only convincing in the collector's showcase, but also as a gentleman's knife suitable for a pocket. The blade is made of the unique Tirpitz Damascus, is supplied with a modern, elongated ricasso and opens with a nail nick. This integral version of the timeless classic with a contoured handle body made of black micarta, which is milled from the solid and also forms the characteristic bolsters of the Barlow. The lightweight construction can thus completely dispense with additional liners made of metal. Thanks to the likewise contoured handle scales made of domestic walnut wood, the unique gentleman's knife lies extremely comfortably in the hand. The decorative rivets are made of nickel silver, the blade axle screw of stainless steel. Supplied with a high-quality felt case for storage. Handmade in the Boker Knife Manufactory in Solingen.
MyGoodKnife is the official distributor of Böker. The oldest German knife company Böker was founded in the 17th century (Remscheid). Today Böker produces one of the world's best folding knives, outdoor knives, tactical knives and hunting knives. Like the vast majority of late medieval businesses, Böker was a family business founded by the head of the family. The workshop, and a little later a small factory for the production of high-quality blades, was located in the most beautiful corner of Germany - a grove of spreading chestnut trees. This powerful tree became the symbol of the famous German company.
Now the part of the legendary German manufacturer’s capacity has been transferred to Taiwan and China in order to optimize production costs (Böker Plus and Böker Magnum). However, this does not mean that the products of the famous company “with a tree on the blade” have become worse. All Böker factories are equipped with the most advanced equipment, and quality control of manufactured products is carried out centrally and very scrupulously. In our shop you can find almost whole range of Böker knives. Some models are available for pre-order. We can not permanently keep at warehouse whole range of Böker knives, but have right to represent their whole range and accept pre-orders, since we get from them goods weekly.
