G. Sakai

G.Sakai designs and manufactures pocket knives and kitchen knives in Seki, Japan. Originally founded in 1958 as "Sakai Hamono", G. Sakai has designed knives for some of the biggest names in the industry, including Gerber and Spyderco. Since the 2000s, the brand has been actively developing its own line of knives, earning recognition from collectors and users around the world.

The G.Sakai line includes knives for everyday carry (EDC), as well as specialized tools for fishing and cooking. The company remains true to its roots, continuing to create knives in Seki, the “city of swords,” which is still considered the capital of Japanese knifemaking.
