The Old Bear Utility Mushroom is a classic Italian mushroom knife by Antonini. Lightweight, compact, and functional, it fits comfortably in a pocket or basket and is barely noticeable when carried: it weighs just 43 g. The 68 mm long blade is made of 1.4060 stainless steel and features a Hawkbill profile with a curved tip, typical of mushroom knives. This shape is especially convenient for carefully cutting mushrooms, and the blade's thickness of just 2 mm ensures excellent cutting properties. The blade has a satin finish and opens manually with a convenient nail nick. At the opposite end of the handle is a natural horsehair brush. This is a useful tool for removing soil, pine needles, and other debris right in the forest. The ergonomic handle is made of walnut and finished with brass fittings. The proprietary Viro Lock/Twist Lock securely locks the blade in both the open and closed positions.
