Description
Ahti Wästi is a sharpening stone, which made of stone mined from the village of Västilä in Längelmäki. The aggregate is beaten into tiles in the same way that it has been beaten for hundreds of years by hand. The beautiful natural stone that is perfect with water for sharpening carbon steel and chrome steel steels. Size approx. 100 x 22 x 8 mm. Natural stone can have natural cracks.
Ahti are handmade knives from Finnish town Kauhava. Blacksmith Reino Kamppila and his family are making Ahti knives for a lot of years. Each Ahti knife is an individual and handcrafted. Handles are made from curly birch. The blades are made from high-quality vanadium-carbon steel. High quality and Finnish traditions making Ahti knives popular all over the world.
