For 70 years TOJIRO is manufacturing various types of knives in Tsubame-Sanjo, Japan. Combining historical traditions and modern technologies, Tojiro produces different kitchen knives series of western style and japanese style. In our store you can buy several Tojiro knives series.

Western style series:

Tojiro Flash. This series features a Damascus steel blades with a core made of steel VG10. Uniquely curved reinforced laminated handle is very durable and strong against deterioration.

Tojiro Classic Damascus. Forged multilayered blade made by the same manufacturing process as Japanese sword making. Classic western reinforced laminated handle is very durable and tough.

Tojiro Oboro. Suitable for both professional and home use. This series has blades made of VG10 steel - carbon, but corrosion resistant. Round shaped micarta handles have black and white pattern inspires image of traditional Japanese ink wash painting.

Tojiro Pro. Blades have a VG10 as core steel, clad by 13-Chrome stainless steel. Handles are hygienic all stainless steel, so can be used in professional kitchen. Handles have a texture called “tornado pattern” which prevents wet or greasy hand from slipping off.

Tojiro Origami. Design comes from “Origami” – Japanese traditional paper craft. Knives of this series are made from a folded metal sheet, no welding process involved. Its design is awarded by iF Design Award – world’s famous product design award.

Tojiro Color. This series has handles made of antibacterial treated elastomer, which is non-slip and easy to grip, very hygienic and durable. Blades are made of Molybdenum Vanadium steel. This series has high resistance against rust and suitable for professional use.

Tojiro Gai. Blades have VG10 core with damascus pattern. Micarta handles are ergonomic and comfortable. Tojiro Atelier. Amazing blades are forged by hands by Tojiro craftsmen. VG10 core gives maximum sharpness. Classic western reinforced laminated handles are very durable.

Tojiro Powdered High Speed Steel. Blades have a core made of powdered FAX18 steel and clades made of SUS 405 steel. Classic western handles are very comfortable.

Tojiro Home. Round shaped blue micarta handles are very soft and pleasant to the touch. Blades have VG10 cre and 13 chrome steel clads.

Tojiro DP Cobalt Alloy. This classic series have corrosion resistant blades made of 3 layers of Cobalt Alloy steel. Reinforced laminated handles are comfortable for home and professional use.

Traditional Japanese knives series:

Tojiro Zen. One of the most popular series. It combines the blade of Western kitchen knife with the traditional Japanese wooden handle made of magnolia. Blades have a VG10 as core steel, clad by 13-chrome stainless steel.

Tojiro Zen Black. Blades have VG10 core and 13-chrome clad with a black oxide processing applied on it. Chestnut handles have excellent durability, and additionally applied fire treatment.

Tojiro Shippu. Knives of this series have a beautiful damascus blades with VG10 core. Traditional Japanese magnolia handles.

Tojiro Shippu Black. Blades are made of same steel like Shippu series, but additionally have a black oxide finnish. Handles are made of chestnut.

Tojiro VG10 Hammered. Beautiful black hammered blades made of VG10 have decorative forge traces. Magnolia handles.

Tojiro Shirogami. As you can see from name, this series have blades made of Shirogami steel. Same as many traditional series, knives have magnolia handles.

Tojiro Aogami. These knives are made of high quality Aogami carbon steel. It has amazing sharpening edge. Handles are made of magnolia.

Tojiro MV. Molybdenum Vanadium steel gives a corrosion resistance to blades. Knives of this series have traditional magnolia handles.
