Bohler N690 steel is a corrosion-resistant steel alloyed with cobalt. The steel producer is the Austrian metallurgical concern Bohler-Uddeholm AG. Steel N690 can be hardened to 60-62 RHC. Bohler N690 steel knives do not rust for a long time and remain resistant to various loads, which is especially important for tactical knives and survival knives. Therefore, such manufacturers as Extrema Ratio, Boker and others make knives from Bohler N690 steel. Bohler N690 steel knives are easy to sharpen.

SILENTE is unique in its kind and it performs unique needs: the handle is crafted in two parts and it works also as the grip of a clamp placed at the end of the handle itself. Besides taking hold of everything that has the appropriate dimensions, the clamp can be used to cut wire-fences, wire-rods, steel cables, etc. and it can be used as a glass breaker thanks to the tungsten carbide insert placed at its end. The sheath protects the cutting part while using the clamp in safety, but it can also release the blade with a retention system that can be activated quickly and silently. It can be fastened at thigh or on M.O.L.L.E. system. It is integrated into the operator's equipment using minimum space.

The Tactical knife Extrema Ratio K1 Dobermann XXV Anniversary has a modified Spear point blade, whose tip is a combination of tanto style at 40° and a more traditional European style, resulting in a very sharp but solid hybrid. It also has a sharp false edge that makes it very effective at thrusting. It has a high bevel that allows a very efficient cutting edge.This special edition of 250 pieces, designed for the 25th anniversary of the brand, maintains the shape of the original knife but with up-to-date materials and finishing. The blade is made of Böhler N690 steel, heat treated at 58 HRC, to reach the best combination of edge retention and resistance. It has a satin finish and a flat grind. The Anticorodal anodized handle has a lighter design compared to its original – a design that characterises Extrema Ratio knives – but it keeps the arched shape and the lateral “bump” of the K1, allowing an excellent grip in bot saber and reverse mode. The bottom part of the handle is curved to create a sort of hook for easily and rapidly pulling the knife out of the sheath, whereas the pommel stick out as a triangular glass breaker that can become a lanyard hole. The leather sheath is the exact replica of the original, retaining its features of rapid and easy extraction. The knife can be carried upwards underarm, horizontally with a belt or tactically in the leg. Extrema Ratio MK2.1 is a re-issue of the Mark 2 combat dagger, one of the most common knives during World War II. The aim was to preserve the characteristic properties of the original, making only those changes that would increase its effectiveness. The blade is made of Böhler N690 cobalt steel, the rest of the parts are made of AISI 303 and AISI 304, and the handle uses fiberglass-reinforced nylon instead of leather. The MK2.1 retains the ergonomics of the original Mark 2, while all of the frame parts have been enlarged to provide a robust, high-performance multi-tool. The most significant changes are aimed at eliminating the known "weak points" of the original knife: the ability to disassemble in the field without the tools, a straightened modified Bowie profile, which makes it easier to maintain the edge, and recesses on the handle that help to correctly orient the blade in the dark and increase the grip during rotational movements. Lanyard hole and front guard holes have also been added. The kit includes a standard hip-mount sheath.
