The “Arditi Distruttori della Regia Aeronautica” (lit. royal air force brave destroyers) were an Italian battalion serving in the North African theater during WW2, and awarded two silver medals of honor. They were tasked with complex sabotage operations against enemy airfields, which they accomplished employing then unprecedented guerrilla tactics. Now the 17° Stormo Incursori (17th Raiders Wing) of the Italian Air Force picks up their glorious heritage as a special force. As a tangible token of continuity, members of the 17th line up and parade carrying combat daggers at their belts, as the Arditi used to carry. This ADRA dagger, with its classic European shape, was designed for and with strong input from the commanders and operatives of the 17th. Thus begins its road of honor and duty. ADRA OPERATIVA is the black oxide-coated version, no logo, calf sheath included.

With an overall length of 5.7” (165 mm) and a weight of just  52 g the Extrema Ratio BDØ R is an extremely light and slim knife which makes it an ideal EDC choice. It is characterized by a very slim profile with a focus on lightness. The blade is made in Bohler N690 steel hardened to 58 HRC, 2.36” (60mm) long, 0.1” (2.5 mm) thick, with a plain sharpening and a faux edge on the first third of the spine. His designs created an excellent reputation in the world of the tactical knives. His custom versions are asked for worldwide and they are hard to get. We are glad, that Bill starts with Boker a new collaboration for our serial production. We begin with a modification of the legendary Applegate-Fairbairn dagger. The Harsey 5.5 is in use with several elite units around the world and it will be paired with modern features into a highly functional knife concept. The blade length offer the perfect compromise between the ability to carry it and utility. The enlarged width and the better geometry of the double edged and finely bead blasted 440-C high performance steel blade improve the cutting abilities. The tang reaches out of the end of the handle and it can be used as a windowbreaker. The CNC machined handles, made of green canvas micarta, are extremely durable and comfortable and these offer even in wet environments a perfect grip. It comes with a premium tactical sheath made by Spec-Ops Brand (USA) in black. Extrema Ratio MK2.1 is a re-issue of the Mark 2 combat dagger, one of the most common knives during World War II. The aim was to preserve the characteristic properties of the original, making only those changes that would increase its effectiveness. The blade is made of Böhler N690 cobalt steel, the rest of the parts are made of AISI 303 and AISI 304, and the handle uses fiberglass-reinforced nylon instead of leather. The MK2.1 retains the ergonomics of the original Mark 2, while all of the frame parts have been enlarged to provide a robust, high-performance multi-tool. The most significant changes are aimed at eliminating the known "weak points" of the original knife: the ability to disassemble in the field without the tools, a straightened modified Bowie profile, which makes it easier to maintain the edge, and recesses on the handle that help to correctly orient the blade in the dark and increase the grip during rotational movements. Lanyard hole and front guard holes have also been added. The kit includes a standard hip-mount sheath.

It retains all the characteristics of MF1 but has a downsized handle and shortened blade, similar to our SHRAPNEL “back-up” knife. This versione is produced with a rough handle for a better grip. The drop point blade 68 mm is made of Bohler N690 stainless steel (58HRC). Black aluminum handle. 
MF stands for Medium Folder: a product line positioning itself between the BF (Basic Folder) and the Heavy Folder lines. MF knives employ the LINER-LOCK mechanism and are distinguished for their sturdiness; all are equipped with a glass-breaker. An innovative supplementary screw can be unlocked to enable fine-tuning of the main screw, adjusting opening speed to taste.
