With appropriate pressure on the back of the blade, the blade can be folded without releasing a locking device.To ensure that no doubts arise when carrying the Cataclyst Flipjoint,  have explicitly had a declaratory notice drawn up for the legal weapons classification of a knife supplied with a ball holder for the blade. Unique Böker Kalashnikov Bayonet Damascus folder is equipped with a Damascus blade made from the steel of the 6Ch3 and 6Ch4 bayonets according to the GRAU index of the former Soviet Army and decorated with the signature of General Kalashnikov. The stainless Damascus by Chad Nichols consists of 80 layers and is forged by hand in the Virus pattern. It features an unusually intricate pattern that is the result of a very controlled forging process. The blade with the pandur tip adopted from the bayonets is opened with the help of the thumb stud and locked by a sturdy linerlock.
The handle is CNC machined from a block of 6061-T6 aluminium and then hardcoat anodized black. The stabilized inlays are made of hornbeam wood, reminiscent of the stock wood of the famous assault rifle, and together form the shape of the forend's distinctive vents. The Russian Amber Shellac colour of the original stocks has been precisely matched. They are also CNC milled from the solid and inserted by hand. All screws and the clip (tip-up/r) are also black anodized. Handmade in the Boker Knife Manufactory in Solingen. The task in developing the Boker Kalashnikov was to integrate design elements of the AK-47 assault rifle and base the design on the world-famous rifles. General Mikhail Kalashnikov has personally convinced himself of the production quality at the Böker Knife Manufactory. It is made of black hardcoat anodized 6061-T6 aluminum and provided with noble inlays of certified imported cocobol wood. However, the most striking recognition feature of the pocket knife is the PVD-coated 440C blade, which stylistically corresponds to the bayonet blade of the AK-47. The world-famous 98k carbine was introduced as a standard service rifle by the Wehrmacht, The German Armed Forces in 1935 and remained the most widely used handgun by German soldiers until the end of the Second World War in 1945. The bolt action rifle was based on the Mauser System 98 breech system, which was used with the 98 rifle as the standard weapon of the German Army as early as the First World War.
The Boker 98k-Damascus picks up different design elements of the 98k bayonet and is also equipped with a unique damascus blade made of the Mauser carbine barrel steel. The remarkable damascus is forged for us by Chad Nichols by hand in the Ripple pattern. The unique blade with its pronounced ricasso is opened by nail nick and reliably locked by a stable backlock. Now, 80 years later, Böker is presenting the special edition Böker Tirpitz-Damascus Gold as a reminder that Western Europe suffered through two World Wars and has been living in peace and liberty since 1945.The enormous battleship was sunk in 1944 off the Norwegian coast. Right after the end of World War II, a Norwegian company sent experts to salvage the ship's wreck, in order to make the highly alloyed steel available for civilian purposes. Böker received some parts of the salvaged armoring of the Tirpitz. Their blacksmith took these pieces of living history and forged an exclusive and exceptional steel with a fascinating history.Böker Tirpitz-Damascus Gold fascinates with its peerless Damascus blade, exclusively plated with gold. The blade consists of 300 layers of hand-forged Tirpitz-Damascus with the "Great Pyramid" pattern. The subtle sheen of the gold plating catches the eye of the beholder.
