Sharpening stone Suehiro 6000/1000 CR-4800
Sharpening stone Suehiro Cerax #1000/6000 can be used to sharpen all kind of knives, made of any type of steel, Japanese or not. This is a medium-hard stone, meaning it will quickly create a slurry during sharpening. Slurry is this paste-like, fresh "compound", full of abrasive grains, produced on the surface of the stones once we start sharpening. It will help us sharpen our knives faster. #1000 grit is a most common, general sharpening granulation (to put a new edge on a blunt knife), while #6000 grit is a fine granulation for the finishing edge and the final polish of the blade. The hole in the stone base allows to hang the stone to dry. And the bottom container, when filled with water, allows to wet the second stone before use. Comes with nagura.

Knife Sharpener Zwilling J.A.Henckels Bar, Diamond 26cm 32520-261-0
Zwilling Diamond Sharpening Steel: Even a good knife will lose some of its sharpness with time. While honing steels only straighten a fine edge knife, a Diamond sharpening steel can actually sharpen a fine edge knife through the removal of steel. The same actions used on a regular honing steel are effective at defining a new edge when using a Diamond steel. The average lifespan of diamond coated steels may be shorter as the coating tends to gradually wear off.

Even a knife made of the best steel always requires proper sharpening. In our range you will find tools for sharpening already blunted knives, as well as for constantly maintaining the working condition of the cutting edge. The frequency of sharpening depends on how often you use the knife, as well as on the properties of the steel. For example, carbon steel knives keep sharpening longer. When choosing sharpening tools, pay attention to the sharpening angle. So, standard European sharpeners are not suitable for Japanese knives, since the sharpening angle of Japanese knives is less and is about 15 degrees, while European knives are 20 degrees. For sharpening Japanese knives, we recommend using sharpeners from Japanese manufacturers, whetstones or musats. Musats are also the optimal universal sharpening tool for any knives. In our store you can buy musats, electric sharpeners, kitchen knife sharpeners, hiking sharpeners, grindstones online. Here is our selection of sharpeners, electric sharpeners, sharpening stones, sets for sharpening and care.
