Description

A Japanese bread knife with a 30 cm blade. The serrated blade, crafted from triple-layer AUS-10 steel, ensures a confident, clean, crumb-free cut, easily handling both crispy crusts and soft crumbs. The European-style handle is made of stabilized pakkawood—a material known for its strength, moisture resistance, and pleasant tactile feel. The knife fits comfortably in the hand and is well-balanced, making it comfortable to hold, even after extended use. Like all Ittetsu knives, this bread knife is handcrafted in Echizen, Japan—a region with centuries-old blacksmithing traditions. Thanks to this handcrafted craftsmanship, each piece possesses an authentic character: slight variations in appearance are possible. This is not a flaw, but rather part of the philosophy and charm of a true Japanese knife. The knife weighs 360 g. Hand washing and regular wiping dry are recommended.
