Mcusta Date Masamune features textured blue pakkawood handle with a shaving sharp SPG-2 steel blade. Spear point blade style offering its user ample slicing ability plus piercing power backing it up. MyGoodKnife is an authorized dealer of Marusho Industry Inc (brand Mcusta Zanmai). All Mcusta knives at our stores are original and made is Seki city, Japan.

They are distinguished by the processing of special types of wood, such as cocobolo or ebony. In the manufacture of the blade, only the best materials are used: VG10 steel or outwardly attractive Damascus steel. Teflon sliding washers keep the blade smooth. Pure Japanese craftsmanship. Mcusta (Machine Custom Knives) are manufactured in Seki. This small town has been the center of the Japanese knife industry hundreds of years.
